9 Signs Your Feet May Indicate Liver Problems

  1. Dry skin and cracked heels

Rough skin,  cracked heels , persistent dryness? These signs can indicate  incomplete elimination of toxins by the liver , which impacts the quality of the skin, including that of the feet.

  1. Yellowing of the feet or nails

A  slight yellow tint  on the soles of the feet or nails may reflect  a buildup of bile pigments . This often occurs when  the liver is no longer able to properly excrete them .

  1. Visible veins on the tops of the feet

Protruding veins, especially at the back of the foot? This may indicate  excessive pressure in the blood vessels , sometimes linked to  portal hypertension, a consequence of liver disorders.

Our feet speak to us… it’s up to us to know how to listen to them.

They are sometimes the first signs of a deeper imbalance.  A malfunctioning liver doesn’t always manifest itself through abdominal pain or nausea: it can also be felt in the extremities. Paying attention to these signs can help  detect certain health problems earlier.
